Terms and Conditions

Shipping:

  • Customer pays all shipping.

Shipping Locations:

Escrow:

  • We accept escrow, if buyer pays escrow charges.

Prices:

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping, handling and installation.

Return Policy

Conditions Apply to ALL Returns

  • Items purchased “as is” are not returnable
  • Customer is responsible or contacting GenTech to obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Number.  Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.
  • The RMA is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue.  RMA numbers cannot be extended or reissued.
  • A request for return must occur within thirty (30) days of original ship date.
  • Items damaged due to improper use or maintenance will not be accepted, and customer remains responsible for full payment.
  • GenTech Scientific, Inc. reserves the right to void return authorization during inspection upon return receipt of goods if operator error, improper use and/or improper maintenance by customer are apparent.
  • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  Customer remains responsible for payment of invoiced shipping charges.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping charges and risk of loss/damage on all return shipments.  We strongly recommend proper, durable, safe packing; insuring the goods for return shipment; using a reputable carrier capable of providing proof of delivery.
  • Restocking fees apply (see below).

Restocking/Cancellation Fees

  • In order to cover costs incurred by GenTech Scientific, Inc. in the preparation of equipment specific to customer needs, restocking/cancellation fees will be applied per the following.
  • Orders returned by the customer are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Customer will pay for all shipping, transportation and packaging fees for returns.
  • If the equipment being returned is damaged at customer site (including during return transit), customer is liable for payment of the full amount of the order.

Items Damaged in Shipping

If an item is received damaged:

  • First, do not sign for it if the crate/box is significantly damaged
  • If the equipment was signed for and is damaged, contact GenTech Scientific, Inc. immediately
  • Keep the crate and/or packaging and take a picture of the box and damaged equipment and e-mail it to Shipping(at)gentechscientific.com
  • GenTech will contact you regarding the status of your claim
