| The
Shimadzu GC-2010 tests yield very accurate chemical graphs
that are compared to baseline tests of certified samples to determine
compliance. The AHDRA includes 15 different classes of motorcyles, with
some reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph in just over six seconds. You
might think that this would be enough speed and acceleration for anyone,
but with the thousands of dollars worth of prize money and sponsorships
available to winning drivers and racing teams, some might be tempted to
stretch the rules. Faster speeds can be achieved by adding accelerants
to the fuel, and the Shimadzu GC-2010 tests for these
accelerants.
This will be the fourth year in which GenTech Scientific has provided analytical equipment, along with technical service and chemist support to the All Harley Drag Racing Association. Both companies have agreed to extend the partnership for an additional three years. For more
