and Flexibility |

The
easy-to-use keypad controller allows you to set up
and store gradient methods. A pulse damper and transducer
in one of the pumps allow you to set upper and lower
pressure cut-off limits to help extend column life.
During operation, this Series I pump monitors the
current system pressure.
The
detector LED displays absorbance or lamp energy levels.
Simply dial in the desired wavelength, sensitivity,
and rise time on the detector; auto-zero, and you
are ready to run.

performance at an affordable price |
|
The
proven single-piston pump design combined with the
pulse-damper give the Series I pump the performance
of the most expensive pumps at a fraction of the cost.
The
Series I Binary Gradient is available in stainless
steel or metal-free, biocompatible Bioclean
(PEEK) fluid path.

Pump
The Series I Pump provides precise, reproducible flows
to 10 mL/min. at 2500 psi in an economical package.
The pump can be used in liquid chromatography applications
and for metering.
For
binary gradient solvent delivery, the fluid outputs
of the two pumps are combined through a tee into the
pulse damper to provide effective mixing and pulse
dampening characteristics.

Detector
The
V520 UV-Vis detector features high sensitivity with
selectable absorbance ranges from 0.0005 to 4.0 AUFS.
Unique fiber optics and proprietary circuits ensure
low-noise, low-drift performance. A pre-aligned deuterium
lamp is standard for the UV wavelength range (195-
400nm); an optional tungsten lamp extends the detector
range (400-800nm). The analog output of the detector
may be hooked up to any data collection system.

| SCU
Keypad Controller |
|
Connections between the pumps and the keypad controller
are easily made with the supplied RS232 cables. The
System Control Unit (SCU) provides control of the
gradient program, run duration, and number of repeating
cycles. It can store 10 gradient methods, link to
a shutdown method, and receive an external start command
(TTL/contact closure) from the injector or data system.
