Zymark TurboVap LV Evaporator

The Zymark TurboVap LV Evaporator is designed to work with a variety of tube sizes from 1.5mL to 35mL. It is in good working condition and tested at GenTech. It is a microprocessor-controlled evaporator providing simultaneous concentration of up to 50 samples. Samples are placed in a temperature-controlled water bath (up to 90°C) and rapid evaporation takes place under nitrogen stream by means of a patented gas flow process in the tubes. The parameters can be programmed, and the run is automatically completed. Includes Operator's Manual and NINETY (90) DAY WARRANTY.

Features:
  • Microprocessor-control provides monitoring of the timed operation and water bath temperature. It also provides automatic shutoff and operational diagnostics.
  • The operator is able to start a run of samples and leave it unattended. When the preset time has expired, the gas shuts off automatically and the evaporator sounds a buzzer. The buzzer continues to beep every 30 seconds until operation is stopped.
  • Patented “gas vortex shearing action” speeds evaporation.
  • The evaporator uses one to five manifold rows. Each manifold has ten nozzles that extend into the tubes to supply the gas for evaporation. This allows up to 50 samples to be processed simultaneously. If you have less than 50 samples, you activate only those rows where samples are located.
  • Evaporation may be paused, the stopped or resumed at any time. Time and temperature settings, and the selection of a row of tubes may be changed at any time.
  • The flip-down cover and exhaust system permit the unit to be placed on the bench rather than taking up valuable hood space.
